A must for food enthusiasts
We often eat without knowing what the foods, fruits or vegetables can do for us, we take it as we please. We heard sayings telling us an apple per day keep the doctors away, in its in fact two apples per day that keeps the doctors away.

This book tells us, how to balance what we eat with a natural touch. The benefits of garlic, lemons, carrots, and more. Natural ingredients that can cure asthma, cancers, and other deceases such as the common cold or flu. It is a must for the family.

Rapid Review: Anatomy Reference Guide
Published in Spiral-bound by Anatomical Chart Co (October, 1996)
Authors: Marcelo Oliver, William E. Burkel, Nancy Liskar, and Anatomical Chart Company
Average review score:

An Excellent Desktop Reference for the Health Professional.
As a medical disability analyst, despite over 30 years of prior work in the medical field as a nurse and technologist, I frequently find myself in need of a quick brush-up on anatomical aspects of medical conditions and diseases. Since I have discovered this excellent and beautifully illustrated anatomical reference, I have found as much use for it as for my PDN and Dorland's. The book is simplified in layout and easy to use. The full-color diagrams and attendent identifications are well rendered and concise. In short, this is a book that is well worth its cost for all the assistance it provides when you can't quite recall exactly how the inferior human Framis Garbazongoid ligament joins to the Ortheoleptroid Whazis muscle, but need to "bone-up" on the subject without wasting any more time than is necessary. I highly recommend you replace that tattered old Gray's with this extremely functional, modern substitute (and you won't sprain a Trapezius hefting it, either...).

Published in Mass Market Paperback by Raintree (July, 1996)
Author: Ranae Johnson
Average review score:

R.E.T is the most healing therapy for trauma I have ever don
I am so glad that Ranae developed the wonderful method of R.E.T (Rapid Eye Technology) for it is the best therapy I have ever done for healing me and freeing me from my past trauma. I am a survivor of severe child abuse. I did years of various methods psychotherapy, read hundreds of psychology text books and self-help books, tried various alternative healing techniques like Thought Field Therapy and EMDR which were very helpful and I did a lot of healing and increased my awareness but I was still stuck. I began to realize that with my level of severe abuse and all the issues I had to work through it would take the rest of my life and I still wouldn't be done. Psychotherapy was just too slow. I am amazed at how quickly RET works. As I read through Ranae's book I could see all that I had learned from in her work. She has studied psychology and the roots of trauma and how it effects us on a body/mind/spirit level very well. She has put all the methods that I read were effective all togehter into one method and it works so quickly and deeply. I have never been able to let go of core issues, pain, resentment, anger and fear as quickly and DEEPLY as this before. I feel so much better! I have never felt this good ever in my life.

South Shore: The Last Interurban : Revised Second Edition (Railroads Past and Present)
Published in Hardcover by Indiana University Press (01 June, 1999)
Authors: William D. Middleton and William D. Middleton
Average review score:

The Last Interurban
With today's new developements there might be more (new) interurbans in America, but up to now the South Bend is the last Interurban. This book tells us all we need to know: the (sometimes reallly entangled) history of the CSS&SB, how she was renewed by Mr. Insull; how she survived until today. The book desribes the South Bend's history in depth - and very readably, it includes a wealth of photos. One of the pix I enjoyed most is one of a 1980's Interurban riding thru an Indiana town - beautiful.
